MultiMoviesAPI is a public REST API. We do not collect, store, or process any personal information from users. The API is accessed anonymously — no accounts, no sign-ups, no API keys required.
When you access the API, our server may log:
- IP address (for rate limiting and abuse prevention)
- Request timestamp and endpoint accessed
- User-Agent header (for bot detection)
These logs are automatically purged and are not used for tracking or profiling.
2. How We Use Information
Limited server logs are used solely for: rate limiting, preventing abuse/DDoS, and monitoring API health.
3. Data Sources
The API aggregates publicly available data from third-party websites. This includes movie/TV metadata and streaming links. We do not host any content.
4. Cookies
The API does not use cookies. This website does not use cookies or tracking technologies.
5. Third-Party Services
The API may link to third-party streaming services with their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their practices.
6. Data Retention
Server logs are retained for max 7 days. Cached API responses are in memory for 30 minutes, not persisted to disk.
7. Children's Privacy
The API is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page.
